DOS IMPORTANTES INFORMACION DE LOS PREMIOS DE LA INICIATIVA DE SEGURIDAD DE $1,000:




1. Cualquier miembro que salga agraciado podra recojer su premio en la oficina de la Local 78 en Manhattan NO IMPORTA si haya o no ido a la Fiesta de gala.


2. Los Nombres de las personas escojidas en las areas de trabajo que proveen los Shop Stewards debe de ir acompañado del reporte de shop steward y seran verificados para asegurar que fueron seleccionados de la manera apropiadad.

TWO IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THE $1,000 SAFETY INITIATIVE AWARD:

1. We will select some names from the OUT WORK LIST to participate in the draw of the $1,000 award.

2. Any Member that wins the award and do not come to the Chrstmas Gala, can get it at Local 78 Manhattan Office.

3. Those name provided by the Shop Steward MUST have the Shop Steward Report attached to the form. We will check that the names provided were selected using the appropriate method.

LiUNA Lokal 78 przy wspolpracy z Lokalem 12A i Stowarzyszeniem Kontraktorow (The Environmental Contractors Association (ECA)) wynagrodzi 32 czlonkow po $1,000 kazdy.

Metoda wybrania tych pracownikow jest nastepujaca: ECA wybierze 200 osob i Lokale wybiora 200 osob (Lokal 78: 160 & Lokal 12A: 40). Losowanie 32 osob odbedzie sie na zabawie swiatecznej Lokalu 78 Christmas Gala - Dec 16, 2011.

Sposob w jaki Lokal 78 wybierze 200 czlonkow jest nastepujacy:

Shop Steward przeprowadzi losowanie jednego pracownika na kazdej z prac. Jezeli bedzie wiecej niz 10 pracownikow w pracy, wtedy zostanie wybranych 2.

Shop Steward wypelni forme wydawana przez Lokal z informacja dotyczaca wylosowanego pracownika i odda je razem z raportem Shop Stewarda do naszego biura.

Zostanie wybranych 10 Shop Stewardow aby brali udzial w losowaniu. Zostana oni wytypowani w nastepujacy sposob: wiadomosc tekstowa zostanie wyslana do wszystkich czlonkow aby mogli sami wybrac i zaglosowac na najlepszego Shop Stewarda. Najlepszych 10, ktorzy otrzymaja najwieksza ilosc glosow zostanie dodanych do calej puli nazwisk bioracych udzial w losowaniu aby wybrac 32 nazwiska, ktore otrzymaja czek na $1,000.

SEGURIDAD EN LOS LUGARES DE TRABAJO =

La Local 78 en coordinacion con la Local 12A y La Asociacion de Contratistas del Medio Ambiente (ECA, por sus siglas en ingles) va a entregar como premio US$1,000 a 32 trabajadores c/u.

SOLO APLICA A TRABAJOS EN NYC & LONG ISLAND!

El metodo que se utilizara para seleccionar a estos trabajadores es el siguiente: La ECA elegira 200 trabajadores y Las Uniones 200 (La Local 78: 160 y la Local 12A: 40). De estas 400 personas se hara una rifa en la Fiesta de Gala de Navidad de la Local 78 el 16 de Diciembre, 2011.

La manera que La Local 78 escojera sus 160 trabajadores es la siguiente:

Los Shop Stewards haran un rifa en cada area de trabajo tomando los nombres de todos los trabajadores presente. Los Supervisores y miembros de la 12A y trabajadores con historial de no seguir las reglas de seguridad (ejemplo: no se ponen la mascara, hacen macheteos, etc) NO DEBEN ser incluidos. Cuando el trabajo tenga mas de 10 trabajadores deberan de ser seleccionados dos miembros.

Los Shop Steward llenaran el formulario proveeido por la Union Local 78 con la informacion del miembros seleccionado y traerlo a la oficina junto al reporte de shop steward.

Seleccion de Shop Stewards:

Seleccionaremos a 10 Shop Steward para participar utilizando el siguiente metodo: Se le enviara un mensaje de texto a toda la membresia pidiendoles darnos el nombre del mejor shop steward que sigue y aplica la iniciativa de seguridad en las areas de trabajo. Los 10 shop stewards mas votados entraran en el sorteo de los $1,000 dolares.

Safety Initiative Award

SAFETY AT THE JOBSITES = 

LiUNA Local 78 in coordination with Local 12A and The Environmental Contractors Association (ECA) will award 32 workers with US$1,000 each.

THIS IS ONLY FOR NYC & LONG ISLAND JOBSITES!

The method to select this workers is the following: The ECA will select 200 people and the Unions will 200 (Local 78: 160 & Local 12A: 40). A drawing to select those 32 workers will take place at Local 78 Christmas Gala - Dec 16, 2011.

The way our Local 78 Union will select the 160 workers is the following:

The Shop Steward will conduct a drawing in each Jobsite by taking the name of the workers. When the job has more that 10 workers two workers must be selected.

The Shop Steward will fill out a form provided by the Union with the information of the worker selected and bring it to the office together with the Shop Steward Report.

Shop Stewards Selection: 

We will select 10 Shop Stewards to participate in the drawing using the following method:
A text message will be sent to the entire membership for them to vote for the best Shop Stewards. The top 10 with more votes will be included in the Drawing to select the 32 winners of the $1,0000.
